Book of Revelation Lesson 10

Preacher:
Passage: Revelation 3:14-22

An expositional study of the Book of Revelation,  Lesson 10, (The Church at Laodicea). In this lesson Bishop Stinnett takes a look at the Church of Laodicea. Christ could find nothing good to say about this church. The Laodicean church is in denial, thinking it has need of nothing, yet it is "wretched, misrable, poor, blind and naked."This is the church that will miss the rapture. The Luke warm church of Laodicea will be spewed out of Christ's mouth. Yet with this warning comes a promise. As a loving father would warn his children, Christ warns His luke warm church, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Revelation 3:19). A promise is given to those who open their heart, repent and overcome the pressures to conform to the ways of this world. These will sit upon His throne in the Kingdom of Heaven.
