In Part 2 of the series, “Making the Most of What You’ve Got,” Bishop Stinnett covers "The Parable of the Separation of the Sheep from the Goats. (Matthew 25:32-46) As we learned in part 1, we can use our wisdom and ingenuity to change our circumstance, develop our potential and increase our rewards. But, what can we do about the things we can't change? We can't change who we are. As an old cartoon character, Popeye the Sailor says, "I am what I am and that's all that I am, I'm Popeye the Sailor man." We were shaped in inequity and born into sin. We can't change our nature. Let's face it, we were born losers. We were goats. But, we can become the sheep of Christ's pasture if we are born again, let the Holy Spirit change us and do our best to stop acting like goats.
